The 16U and 19U divisions are designed for players 14 through 18 year old, boys and girls. These divisions play in our Area Program. Practices are twice a week. Games may be held on some weekdays and Saturdays. All games are played in Bakersfield. Practices begin in August with our season kicking off our season with "Super Soccer Saturday" in late August or early September. The regular season generally runs about 8 weeks. Teams have the opportunity to advance to our are Area Invitational Tournament in November or December. These divisions finish their season prior to high school soccer begins. This makes AYSO a great opportunity to get in shape for the high school soccer season.
